Maybe it's time I talked about some of the other things I enjoy in life :)
Watched a meaningful movie today on DVD. It's called The Help.
I'm not good at giving synopsis or summaries, so I'm just gonna pick it from IMDb:
"An aspiring author (Emma Stone) during the civil rights movement of the 1960's
decides to write a book detailing the African-American maid's point of
view on the white families for which they work, and the hardships they
go through on a daily basis."
OK... I know this description might be boring you to death, but trust me it's one of the best movies I have seen this year. It's witty, humorous and ultimately delivering a touching message about discrimination. I'm sure most of us know what discrimination feels like, so we can easily relate to the prejudice.
Also filled with good acting by a strong cast.
I adore Emma Stone by the way. FYI you may remember her from movies like The House Bunny, Zombieland and Easy A. She's even going to star in the new Spiderman movie, and is definitely one actress on the rise. :)
The movie is based on the book by the same title. I want to buy the book to read.

I just watched it yesterday and it was so so good! Felt so happy for Minny to have found such a nice employer ^^ (Dam!~ her employer's husband looks good Lol)
