Calling, Calling!!

Haha hi everyone,

I guess some of you still remember my post 'Seeking Concert Buddy' earlier this month right?

Well I was really lucky because I was soon approached by a fellow blogger who was interested and agreed to go to SG with me :)
But as circumstances have it, something came up this week and he realized that he can't make it on 29th June... so that leaves me back to where I started from :(

But I am generally a positive person and I believe that things will work out one way or the other, coz everything happens for a reason right?

So I'm begging hoping that perhaps anyone of you might still be interested in the offer? Or if you know someone who knows someone who is a Kylie fan, can you please help me out? :)
I honestly don't mind going to SG alone for holiday and all, but the thing is I already have 2 tickets to the show. And I really don't want it to go to waste. Besides, it will be nice to share the Kylie experience with someone else.

It's better for me to go with someone who is Plu due to the nature of the show. It wouldn't be as fun if I went with say a class mate or even worse, with my mum. Then I won't be able to jump and scream like a girl hyped up boy hahahaha. It's easier to be yourself when you're with someone from the same boat :)

Please don't hesitate to contact me ok (jboy@live.com.my). I promise I don't bite, unless you want me to hahaha ;)

Second Thoughts

I'm back to old habits again. I thought I was ready for it but an internal mechanism just keeps pushing guys away whenever someone starts showing affection towards me.

I don't think it's guilt about being gay, because I am contented with who I am. Maybe it's my reluctance or fear to connect with people on a deeper, emotional level.

The initial phase is always fun. You like what you see, the flirting goes on, a little bit of dirty talk. Then both parties realize there's some sort of spark, and things get a little more serious when you really put in the effort to get to know each other. Lots of questions asked and answered.

Still fine.

Then it reaches a phase where I start to get a little clingy, usually more so than the guy in question. I would think about him, log in to msn just to chat with him. This is probably where my feelings for him peak.

After that, when he finally shows a similar kind of attraction and affection, all of a sudden I lose interest. I start seeing the flaws in his character, how incompatible the both of us really are, and to some extent, he won't look as attractive as when we first met.

This is where I feel like pulling away. But the problem is, he still very much has feelings for me. And that makes me feel like a horrible person.

It's always like that. Whenever I'm close to being in a relationship, I become all solitary and feel like I don't need a man after all. But the problem is, after some time, I will get lonely and want to feel love again. Then this whole cycle repeats itself. Yes, my life is all about vicious cycles.

They say the grass is always greener on the other side. Maybe that's why I'm never satisfied, with or without a man in my life.

Do any of you have this type of cold feet behaviour? :(

Interracial Dating

Hope my singing didn't scare any of you away :P

Today I want to talk about interracial dating. Yes, INTERRACIAL DATING.
U know why?

Haha it's because I'm sort of seeing someone.... and he's Malay.
Don't freak out yet, it's not official, still very much considered early days.

It kind of perplexes me at times, because I can't quite explain the attraction. If someone told me half a year ago, that I will be dating a non-Chinese now I probably won't believe it. Don't get me wrong, I'm not racist... but I have always felt that it's better to date someone of the same race because it's easier to relate and connect with that person.

But I'm not your conventional Chinese anyway. English is my first language. So chatting with Chinese guys to me is almost the same as any other race. Sometimes, Chinese guys who write in broken English really turns me off. At least this guy has decent English. He mixes a little Malay into the conversation but I have no problems understanding what he's trying to convey. OK maybe just a little. And I have to refrain from using Cantonese words during MSN.

Hahaha all I can say is that it's fresh and interesting.

OHH wanted to add 1 more thing (2 words):
MARION CAUNTER.
If you are Malaysian and don't know who she is, shame on you.
I bring her up because she married a Malay guy, and they make such a sweet couple! LOL

Do you guys think there's any future with an interracial plu relationship?
Would you date someone of a different race, honestly?

Please share!! :)

Hear Me Sing

Hello! I have a treat for you guys, welcome to the J-boy special!
You guys know that I like to stay private, I don't put my pics or use my name or talk about personal things here, but I figured at least you can hear what I sound like, since I doubt anyone recognizes my singing voice anyway, because I hardly sing in public haha.

This mini project was inspired by my bro Qboy who has done some videos of his own :)
But we have different styles, he does more meaningful songs... while I will prefer to go with party, pop dance tracks, because it's easier to sing I guess :P

Before you watch the Acapella videos, I must say it was a real pain in the ass getting them uploaded. Initially these were audio files (.wma), so I tried uploading them directly here or at YouTube, but it wasn't recognized. So I thought it was the file type, and downloaded a converter to change it to (.mp3) file. But since it was still an audio file, I couldn't get it up :(
Finally, I tried using Windows Live Movie Maker. But the files could only be saved as (.wlmp) files, which again was not recognized by Blogger or YouTube. After going through lots of trials, I ended up downloading a new program, PhotoStage Slideshow Producer Professional, which finally enabled the file to be saved in various formats (.mpg)!!!!
The fuss didn't end there, as uploading the files took so long!! =.=

1. Rihanna's S&M

I think the way I say 'Come on' repeatedly is kind of sexy LOL ;)

2. Keri Hilson's Pretty Girl Rock

Now this was hard to sing coz the verses were fast! This is my 3rd attempt, still some stumbles here and there, but I love this song so much that I had to upload it :)

3. Friday!!!!!!!

Now this is dedicated to tuls hahaha, since we both share an appreciation for this song XD

4. Happy Birthday (J-boy remix)

After recording 3 songs yesterday, I was getting high... and after watching the 'Original Song' episode of Glee, I decided to do a remix of Happy Birthday, with a simple melody to go with the really simple words!! This is dedicated to Q-bro and tuls, and also anyone whose birthday is in May :)

I hope you enjoyed hearing the covers, and comments are most welcomed, even the nasty ones haha!! This was done purely for fun, I know I'm not a singer, so don't bang me too hard alright :)

Seeking Concert Buddy

Now this is a first for me. Never advertised through blog before. Here goes...

I have 2 tickets to see Kylie Minogue live in Singapore on 29 June 2011.
You can find all the details about the show here

Kylie shows are known to be extravagant and the audience and atmosphere will likely be gay oriented. I adore her music and she is a true icon and she embraces our kind!

I got decent seats since I bought the tickets early. Tickets seem to be selling rather well. The seats I got are of the medium price range category, located at box T34 (you can see the seating plan at the link above).

Originally I was supposed to see it with someone, but that person can't make it now, so I kena ffk. :( But I'm still keen to see the show, plus I like Singapore :)
I have trouble looking for teman to go with me coz the show happens to be on a Wednesday night so it's hard for them to take leave just for a concert right :(

So I was wondering if anyone here is interested hehe??

I cannot offer the ticket for free as I'm a student and it's quite pricey, but I definitely will ask for a discounted price. Negotiable :)
More importantly you get to watch the show with me and save me from my misery! (I hope spending time with me is considered a positive point hahahaha).

Or if you know anyone who likes Kylie (maybe a single dude haha), then perhaps you can help set me up also.. Who knows, I might meet someone special from this outing!! ;)
Or if there's anyone who's at Singapore now, it's more convenient for you guys to attend rite? :)

If you are interested, please don't hesitate to mail me at jboy@live.com.my and we will discuss from there k. Thanks very much!!!! :)

Pretty Boy Rock

Alright, so my previous post about the quick test is a proven failure :P
Nevertheless I will work on a better test hahaha. Work in progress!

Currently loving this song:

I respect Keri for releasing this song because it could easily be misinterpreted as being cocky or bitchy. With lyrics like 'Don't hate me coz I'm beautiful' it really takes some confidence and grace to pull off.

For a moment, let's replace the lyric 'girl' with 'boy'.

I definitely don't see myself as a 10 nor do I consider myself beautiful, but that doesn't mean I won't rock out to this track! It's catchy and a good way to boost your self esteem haha.

Picture yourself performing this song in front of your man ;)

So now guys, don't hate me coz I'm beautiful!!! lol ;)

Quick Test

Here's a very quick way to test if you're plu.

Step 1: Watch the video below.

OK?

Step 2: Check for hard on.

LOL!

It's that simple.
Cocksox
is probably the most tight fitting and figure enhancing underwear.

Tell me if this doesn't turn you on, not even a little bit hehehe ;)
