I have put a decent amount of thought into it, and perhaps a gym membership is worth getting in the long run to improve my image :P
CF is opening a new branch in PJ, I passed by once and the consultant mentioned there was some opening promo, but I have read online from others on how some of the registration fees can be waived and all, and of course they might try to cheat you on the monthly fees...
So I'm thinking it might not be such a good idea to walk in alone. I have done some research and I know roughly how much it costs. Am I supposed to bargain like a aunty at the market? Sometimes having thick skin helps, but my skin is as thin as they come haha!
Gym is kind of intimidating for newbies. I wonder if I will be stared down? But my intentions are really to work out and improve my fitness, maybe also stare at some yummy candies hahaha!
Any advice fellow bloggers?
You can achieve both...but you have to be determined, else don't sign. Many have signed up but disappear after tahi-tahi-ayam. I m gym freak...
ReplyDeleteIt's definitely a commitment, and whole hell of discipline.
ReplyDeleteThink, think and decide wisely.
well when you enter gym, first there always people who looks down on you that crap.. but fitness level and improving image doesn't comes fast.. it needs time to built.. so confidence and patience must be there with commitment and discipline in training it bears the fruit.
ReplyDeleteif you really committed to it go. if not then don't waste your money. gym freak here.. lol
if you wanna avoid all the distractions go to some noname gym or some exercise club where they offer gym services.. those are less crowded and distraction will be lessen by 90% for you to focus!! dont be like me later ahem ahem in the... ahem.. nevermind... hahahahahaha
ReplyDeleteshould be alright. do strongly suggest the aerobic classes like body pump or combats so that you won't really have much time to mingle and free like TULS did. ahah just joking la okay? membership is surely a commitment, but in the long run it really does improve your health. at least mine did.
ReplyDelete@Skyhawk: Oooooo sounds like u have an amazing body hehe :P
ReplyDelete@CX: yes, i'm still considering it!! haha
@REMEMBER: hi, thanks for visiting my blog! yeah i know it takes time and requires discipline, but I'm not really trying to compete with anyone, nor do I have any specific goals in mind. I do exercise on a regular basis, and I think that paying for gym would motivate me to work out more regularly just because I have paid for it! My aim is more to being fitter and healthy rather than building up big muscles haha :)
@tuls: haha but i scared those no name gyms very shady and got even scarier hamsup ppl there hahahaha :P
@tempus: Hello! Are those classes free? I have heard of it but not sure if u can just walk in and participate :)
if gym i prefer clark hatch, they can give free towels and shirts every time you come to gym,and i wont go to CF ever!the sales people disgust me to the max!
