So I recorded this soon after I returned from Singapore.
This song has a strong significance to me, I grew onto it the moment I first heard it.
It's about realization and moving on in your life. The past has a way of clinging on to us, and dragging us down, you may not even know it consciously because you are so consumed by it, but there will come a day when you see it all with a clarity that just enlightens you and sets you free. And that's a personal journey that only you can undertake, because no one else has that power over you.
I dedicate this to those that are either in the wilderness at this point in life, or to those that are already beginning to see a new light and trying to make that next step forward.

hahahaha I'm not tone deaf, so I can tell I sound quite bad actually, as in it's quite flat. I think I sound better live, somehow when you record it and play on PC, the voice sounds deeper :P

DeleteI tried my best to stick to the vocals of the studio recording.. But I think I was trying so hard to stay on key and focus on stretching the notes that I lost the emotional component a little :P
